MEET LINDA STEPIEN
Linda Stepien is a qualified teacher with 13 years experience in education.
BACKGROUND
Linda started her teaching career as a high school teacher. Although she has the most experience teaching English, Linda also taught Canadian History and Drama. In addition, she spent three years as the school’s Literacy Teacher. This role gave her the opportunity to prepare students for the Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test (OSSLT). Linda has taught a variety of students with different learning styles as well as students with special needs. Many of her lessons have included differentiated instructional and interest based learning while covering overall and specific curriculum expectations and learning goals.
Before transitioning into adult education, Linda was the vice-principal of a high school where her role shifted to data driven student success.
Linda has helped many adult learners improve their writing. She has taught college communications and technical writing courses, worked at a university’s writing centre helping students with essay writing and documentation and she has also taught high school English curriculum to adults working toward their Secondary School Diploma.

CANCELLATIONS/NO SHOWS
It is the learner’s responsibility to contact the service in regards to a cancellation.
Learners who cancel at least one hour prior to their session will not be charged.
Learners who cancel within 60 minutes of the scheduled time may be charged the session’s full amount. Learners who are charged for a missed session must pay the full amount owing prior to their next session.
Cancellations at the time of the scheduled session or when the learner does not attend the scheduled session will result in the learner being charged the full amount for the missed session. Learners who are charged for a missed session must pay the full amount owing prior to their next session.
